~ The Real Face Of Jesus
Behold, The true face of Jesus:

What does Jesus really look like? it would seem that the dominant image is the western one visualizing him as a white, lean rather thin man, However, it woulld appear that that image is a far cry from reality, from the exciting new field of science: forensic anthropology, the answer has emerged, Using methods similar to those police have developed to solve crimes, British scientists, assisted by Israeli archeologists, have re-created what they believe is the most accurate image of Jesus.
This is very interesting indeed, I think this new constructed image is logicaly more accurate than the one portrayed in the west, seeing how Jesus was born and Lived in the Middle East it is safe to assume that he would look like a Middle Easterner rather than a europian, which this new research confirms.

hm.. he looked kinda distressed in the picture, didn’t he ?
maybe wondering what’s wrong with the future people always finding his face’s likeness in unlikely places :)

I saw the documentary on BBC Learning; this was only the last part of a series, which was fascinating and wonderfully produced.
However, in creating the image of Jesus they used a skull that was excavated in the holy land and carbon dated to approximately the time of Jesus (definitely not for Jesus himself pbuh), they also made assumptions about other features like eye color, hair and so on. The final result is an approximation of the typical features of a Palestinian living at that time. The conclusion is that Jesus must’ve resembled this image more than the popular image we see today.
This is helpful for people in the west to visualize how Jesus looked like, but for us we only need to look at any Falla7 men bladna.

Actually, the apostles described Jesus as an ordinary man, with nothing special about him to attract others, other than his message. In other words, just an average guy :)
By the way, the illustrations in my King James Version of the Bible show Jesus as a Middle Eastern guy, even down to wearing the same sort of head dress that Saudi men wear today, except it’s blue and white instead of red and white. It seems like it’s mostly in Catholic Churches that I see depictions of Jesus with light hair and blue eyes. Not really sure where that comes from. If Jesus really looked so different from everyone else in the region 2000 years ago, the apostles would have surely said so.

I always believed Jesus Christ looked different, I mean, he’s basically “3ebrani” and these are a nation who moved from Belad El Rafidayn (Iraq) and it didn’t make sense that he looked all blue-eyed and blond.
Makes you think, of how they claimed those paintings or drawings portray Jesus, Why would he look like that? Unless they’re lying.
I’m not sure how would a person get to see Jesus? :/

I would assume Jesus would have looked like a Jew. He lived among Jews and people did not have a reason to believe he wasn’t a Jew, so I really doubt that he had a dark skin or looked anything like the picture above.
Anyway, this has no religious significance whatsoever.

Omar, you can ask him :) simple as that but need to ask that in faith
this is what i did.
