يمكن اكتر ناس بنضحك عليهم على مستوى الشعب العربي همة الهنود.. لكن و الله بشوفهم عندي .. في امريكا.. بغار منهم.. بتمنى اكون بصبرهم و مثابرتهم .. و اصرارهم الغريب و التضحية العظيمة بكل شيء في الحاضر ... من اجل المستقبل... نضحك عليهم؟؟ والله احنا اللي بنضحّك الناس علينا.. شايفين حالنا احسن ناس!

بستغرب فعلا قدرتهم على انهم يؤجّلوا احلامهم الى الوقت المناسب.. مش معقولين ابدا!

بتمنى لو اعرف اعيش زيهم في بيت لا في لا تلفزيون و لا كنباي و لا اي شي! عايشين علشان يشتغلوا. و في وقت فراغهم اذا ظل عند الواحد فيهم وقت فراغ، ماسكين هالكتاب، و نازلين دراسة .. شي فعلا مش طبيعي!

لا بيهتمّوا بأي شي من زينة الحياة .. اهم شي عندهم يفّروا القرش على القرش .. بشكل مثير للأعجاب كيفما نظرت اليه!

حتى امريكا .. ام الاغرائات ما غيّّرتهم، ما زالوا يوّفروا القرش على القرش .. و يضحّون بكل شيء من اجل المستقبل!

نفسي افهم شو بيعملوا بالمصاري..! اكيد رح تنصرف على شي، لكن شو! الله اعلم! لا بيشتروا لابتوب، و لا حتى خلوي مرتّب و لا كاميرات .. و لا زفت! كل قرش .. بيتوفّر! حتّى الأكل بيجيبو معهم من البيت!

و اللي قاهرني و باط مرارتي انه احنا فاكرين حالنا احسن ناس! على رأي داليدا!

Well, as much as cool that sounds, but allow me to say Q, these people are saving money till when??? It’s great to save money for the future, but that doesn’t mean to live like you are broke! I mean what if that person died?? So what did he do during his life except saving money and NOT spending it!! We all should save money, it’s the right thing to do, but at the same time we should live life, I’m not saying that spending money is the ONLY way, but it’s part of it, there is no harm in treating yourself every once in while (7atta law b mabla’3 z’3eer)…

well thats true man but they work for less than the average person get, am talking about the ones that the companies bring, just like a bank here we have in san antonio, he fired most of his staff and brought indians from india to work and its a big back without mentioning names, everybody went crazy here about it.

you know what piss me about them, man they remember to come where i work the last minute and they stay till we close and turn the lights off and they are still shopping.

Qwaider, I totally agree with you. I spent a year in the UK and i saw how Indians and Pakistanis live, Amazing.
They are proud of their culture, religion and traditions, they are not ashamed of it, like some nations, if you know what i mean;)
Now, the different thing, is that Indians in the UK are rich. I used to see a lot of Indians riding Jaguars, i guess they are good in trade.

It is a country and people who understood what globalization and free trade means. They know that knowledge and empowerment is the way to go in this new world, they also know that tolerance and accepting the other is better than bitching and moaning about reality:)

Add to that:
1) They're the largest democracy on the face of this planet
2) They achieved their independence with peaceful disobedience
3) They ARE the embodiment of diversity and coexistence with 300+ Religions 3000+ language
4) They have the largest movie industry in the world, towering over Hollywood
Now with that said, they're still considered conservative when it comes to issues of sexuality and homosexuality. Their caste system still shows its ugliness every now and then. In addition to women's rights matters.

qwaider, thats said, how does that make it a democracy.
1) India has more corruption and people living in poverty than all Arab countries' populations combined.
2) "peaceful disobedience"? if you are talking about Ghandi alone, yes. but, he was not alone.
3) diversity? hundreds of Hindus and Muslims are being killed by each other everyday. burning mosques and temples, bombing cars and trains, and, of course, the caste system.
4) largest movie industry by number of movies not by how good or universally popular. Hollywood movies show on all continents. I do not remember the last time an Indian movie was a block buster worldwide.

Just wanted to comment on what Globalorama said : Man, American movies sucks!!! Maybe its generating a lot of money as blockbusters but the contents, Zero. Try watching a European film.

I agree with you. European Movies are intellectual. You must think in order to understand the movie. I like that. American ones are stupidly funny and empty for the most part. once in while you have a movie thats worth paying to watch in theaters.

Actually, bollywood is invding Hollywood on it's own turf. The competition is fierce and the future will most likely hold a lot of twists on this front.

As for Hindus and Muslims you're talking hundreds of couple of hundreds of million.

Contrast that with Shiit and sunni in Iraq, Israel and the Arab nations. Or even the situation in Algiers or Yemen.
