Censorship Or Not, Life Goes On!

The new censorship commotion in Jordan is making me worried about the Jordanian bloggers in and outside Jordan who voice their opinion about the lack of democracy, the government practices, the freedom of speech, the unemployment, the unexplainable cost of living increase of the basic food and fuel needs, the low salaries and the loyalty of the people, among other things that affect the people and make their life difficult, or miserable most of the time!

What will become of these bloggers if they get arrested for just saying what they believe is right, true and just? These are very well opinionated individuals that want the best for their people and not after filling their pockets with bribes!

For now I will have to wait and see about the government decision and what action will be taken to apply this censorship.

Throughout history, people are the ones to suffer in order to spread their ideas, and if there is a will, there has to be a way.

Should I be worried if the government watches out my blog and check it out daily?
Should I be worried about posting my personal life? My thoughts, views and my opinions? or even my recipes? Although my blog is a very personal blog, I feel that I should not...unless I post a mansaf recipe, mess up the ingredients, the method of cooking or how to eat it, that will shake up the whole country, then I should be worried of being prosecuted!

freedom of speech and thought is tantamount to living a good life. It's so sad to know that what we consider a basic right, is anything but.
