Blah Blah Blah

Posted by: Hala on: September 30, 2007

I wish I were taller.
I wish I were good with numbers.
I wish I were able to eat Koosa Ma7shi daily.

Oh well … Enough wishing. So where has Hala been? I was busy with school; a lot of work and exams and projects and presentations. I got sick (Flu), which does not really help. I miss my blog, it feels haunted :(

Ramadan is going well, and I mean really well. I was down earlier because I was hating the fact I am spending it away from my home and family. In fact, I was starting to hate Ramadan and Eid because they no longer felt like happy occasions to me. However, I am enjoying each and every bit of the month. I discovered I love cooking. As long as I have time, then I do not mind spending hours in the kitchen. I am planning on making Koosa Ma7shi for the first time, I have a feeling it will be a mess! But it will definitely be worth it. Summer’s Cooking-the-easy-way is helpful, and I check it almost daily now … Thank you for sharing ;)

Hope everyone is having a happy and healthy Ramadan :)

Solutions:

1a. Wear some platform shoes, or
1b. Wear a very long hat, or
1c. a combination of 1a & 1b

2. Buy a calculator.

3. Have your mother prepare some for you in bulk, preferably two 30lb cases, and have it shipped UPS back to TX. Then distribute the contents into 240 separate zip-loc bags for daily consumption. You can use the calculator you purchased in step 2 to figure serving size.

Don’t be down mah jigga.
