One last point, Honor Killings are not something that the religion is AGAINST. Because you’re supposed to do things for God, in the name of God. When you do it for your honor, your tribe, your name or what ever. It’s Un-Islamic of you. The position of Islam is CLEAR: “امساك بمعروف او تسريح بإحسان” which translates loosely to “You either keep [the sinner] with kindness or you release her[or him] in good faith". This is what the compassionate Quranic law says. There are harder punishment if someone chooses to pursue it. But this is the preferred option
