30 useless facts about yours truly (Revised)

A year ago, I posted thirty useless fact about myself on my old blog. Today a conversation with a friend reminded me to check the facts again and append them with any necessary changes. Additions are noted in red and deletions are crossed out.

  1. I use Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Smooth and Sleek shampoo and conditioner, Old Spice High Endurance Pure Sports body wash, Edge sensitive skin with Aloe shaving gel, Gillette Mach3 Turbo Fusion Power and L’Oreal StudioLine Mega Hold Invisigel.
  2. My eyeglass prescription has stabilized at -4.00 Rt and -4.25 Lt.
  3. In Japan, my shoe size is 26.
  4. I have 7 draft posts that I most probably would never publish. Old blog is dead now. I only have a draft picture saved on the new one.
  5. I only put premium (91 octane in Utah), and use Mobil-1 fully synthetic oil in my car.
  6. My iPod currently has 2285 3158 songs.
  7. I hate my toes.
  8. I love cheesy 70s and 80s Lebanese (and 80s and 90s Egyptian “Jeel”, I can;t believe I forgot that!) music.
  9. I have a Kenny (from South Park) figurine on my desk in the lab at work.
  10. I have only played pool twice so far and did not enjoy it because I sucked.
  11. I get irritated when the TV volume is not set to multiples of 5. In fact, whenever needed, and if given the choice, I always chose numbers that are multiples of 5.
  12. I use Breathe Right Nasal Strips on nearly nightly basis.
  13. My shoe laces have to be tied to the same pressure on both feet.
  14. The only channels I watch regularly on TV are Comedy Central, CNN Headline News, Al Jazeera, Gol TV, ESPN Deportes and Fox Sports en Espanol.
  15. I hate award shows.
  16. I have a personal subscription to Nature Reviews in Immunology, The Journal of Experimental Medicine and MAD magazine.
  17. I watched my first X-rated movie when I was in 7th grade.
  18. If I weren’t working on HIV, I’d be working on dendritic cell-based cancer vaccines. I’d rather be drinking now.
  19. I was kicked out of class at UJ 4 times (that I remember clearly).
  20. I have drank beer outside UJ south gates right before an exam and did much better than I expected.
  21. I have taken final exams for other people at high school.
  22. I had to take my driver’s exam 4 times before I got my license.
  23. Original Nokia ringtones bug the crap out of me more now.
  24. Often times, I run back to the house at least two times because I forgot something-probably my wallet my phone, my iPod or my keys.
  25. I can’t drive a bicycle.
  26. The total number of stitches I have on my head is 8 (5 over the nose bone and 3 on the forehead).
  27. I have never broken a bone in my body but had hairline fractures.
  28. I curse quite often when I watch the news channels; mostly at right wing Christians and bearded Islamists yet I have an unexplainable love to Jihadist forums and right wing talk radio.
  29. In restaurant waiting lists, I use the name Ernesto (yes because of Che).
  30. I used to watch the Jerry Springer show at least 3 nights a week for a few months. I still enjoy watching it whenever it is on.
