Several ladies expressed their taboo topics' ideas quiet freely...they discussed sex, body parts, hymens and more...being a 34 year old woman with quiet a life i was wondering though!
I've been reading recently for some new bloggers to me and I've really enjoyed great styles of writing and clever ideas...The blogosphere has come a long way since i started blogging last year...Ladies are rocking it and actually they made me wonder...
It was too late to question these stuff for me as i already been beyond there...but i wondered about what kind of thinking should i embrace regarding my daughter...in a time different than mine when some women see honor as a character thing only that has nothing to do with physical virginity!
I read the thoughts and admired the openness they are indulging as when i was in the twenties i was called a nut and a freak for speaking my mind openly on occasions...
But i have to question here...Is using a tampon an absolute necessity that would make a girl jeopardize loosing her hymn just because she believes that chastity isn't about some tissue that could get cracked??
I mean, Can't ordinary pads do...Always perhaps??
And yes I'm laughing right now as i write this..
Seriously now...
On another note...it's stupid to scare a girl out from riding bikes or horses or joining a gym...it's not only stupid..it's abusing as the girl lives with so much burden that makes her frightened all the time...not to speak of how some parents exaggerate and keep their girls away from boys from the age of 4 and 5 because mingling between genders is risky...and that could lead to either exaggerated attraction or severe repulsion towards the opposite sex.
Now saying that leads to what's important about all of this talk...what's right??
I believe that what's right depends on the person and how he sees things...what kind of qualities he wants to take in life and what are the standards that he wants to step high or low to?
If someone is comfortable in being sexually liberal and living it religious free upon his hand made rules then that's something.
If someone is only comfortable in having certain rules that would regulate his behavior as long as everybody else then that's something else.
It's who you really are not who you want to be...i believe that all humans no matter how religious they are if they were to be given the chance to have a punishment free sin it would be sex, sex and sex...without a doubt.
And there's a big difference between what we see people doing in the west and wanting to live that easily and free as they are and between being comfortable with it!
Arab people may live the same but not all will like it or feel comfortable being different than what we've heard all our lives about right and wrong, 7alal and 7aram.
What is confusing is that some Arab girls specially if they live abroad mix between their rooted feelings of dos and dont's and between how free their societies are.
I've lived both!!
Too conservative and too wild...
and although i was taught that honor is a heart, mind and character thing when i respected my mind and free will more than anything else...i was also taught that i should take good care of my hymn because it's precious and who will ever come and share my life and love and body should be the one who would have the honor.
Now, the fact that he turned out to be a jerk is totally irrelevant if u ask me :D
The thing is...it shouldn't be so simple to loose to a tampon ( not all hymns can survive a tampon u know )...and not so serious to think it's THE SOURCE of honor...
But if it was of no moral use, it wouldn't have been created!!
I think that a lot of Arabs lack moderate thinking...logic interpretation of life...we either hear the east and panic or hear the west and loose it....we need to listen to our true human identity.
I don't need to worship nawal elsa3dawi to be cultured and i don't have to answer each question by verses of quran to be respectable and i sure don't need to be religiously categorized to be faithful
I'll read her and think....read others and think...read myself...honestly and think.

Eih da eih da!!! And you call us bloggers??? You are being accused of having posts ready long time ago ;)
Absolutely right , it's all about how we look at it coz many misunderstand thing and they force them to loose their true meaning. People need panic the least these days and no need to mask ourselves with false beliefs that relate in NO way to what we truly are as Muslims and believers.
I had enough with those who manipulate religion and faith .. You know , the Eid time comes with gatherings and people they just love to judge this and that.. Really.
How is Egypt in Eid?
