Now I know why all of a sudden my blog was full with pro-Israel-terrorist in the last few weeks:
WHILE Israel fights Hezbollah with tanks and aircraft, its supporters are campaigning on the internet.
Israel’s Government has thrown its weight behind efforts by supporters to counter what it believes to be negative bias and a tide of pro-Arab propaganda. The Foreign Ministry has ordered trainee diplomats to track websites and chatrooms so that networks of US and European groups with hundreds of thousands of Jewish activists can place supportive messages.
In the past week nearly 5,000 members of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) have downloaded special “megaphone” software that alerts them to anti-Israeli chatrooms or internet polls to enable them to post contrary viewpoints. A student team in Jerusalem combs the web in a host of different languages to flag the sites so that those who have signed up can influence an opinion survey or the course of a debate. Yeah maybe thats the reason why one of my Flick accounts (which is focused on pictures of Lebanon and Palestine destruction by the Israeli terrorists) was deleted. I already gotten a new one but all the pictures in my old account was lost

we need to have server farm where we could have our own hosting options. I used to run a blog earlier but, couldnt maintain it much. It was deleted and alot of posts used to be deleted as it was hosted in canada.
Are there any web hosting service providers in middle east. I dont wish to host it in america or canada any more.
Yes i have the program Haitham, I downloaded it, I think we can make use for it by finding the places they are trying to cyber attack, and try to stop their propaganda.
But cant anyone in the Arab world do such a project? It will be useful to unite Arabs voices through the internet forever.

I can’t agree less. However, the funny thing is that SOME (without naming them) supposed to be Arab projects have opened doors for these terrorist to use their blogs as a venue for their lies. They think they are moderate that way. They don’t know that these cyber-terrorists are a cancer that should be stopped, not welcomed to weaken our position. But again as I said, they think they are NICE in doing that!

Sorry, I thought about erasing the link but then thought everyone could see just what this sinister thing is. Notice that the Israeli counsul in New York is sending this message out, possibly breaking US laws concerning foreign entities manipulating domestic public opinion. It’s all hooked to the Israel Project. Hope it’s ok to put it here rather than an email. I think the truth really needs to be told.
Also, more than two weeks ago I contacted CNN about Israeli peace sites such as Gush Shalom and Uri Avnery being knocked off of Internet Explorer. It’s definitely a cyber-war my computer genius neighbor said. Poor things, resorting to bull-horns and hacking tactics in order to spread propaganda and attempting to silence voices of peace is REALLY pitiful and can only be generated out of desperation and weakness.

In fact it is a double sword tool. One can use it to see that they are trying to bring down and we can magnify on that, link to it, spread the word about it, support against what they are doing, etc?

Batir, i can understand your anger but please don’t forget that most Israelis and jews are fluent in english. not the same for Arabs. also, israelis have an educational system that promotes debate skills. other fanatical jews have good western education in general. our folks can quote the Koran and Hadith well and if we are lucky they can write coherent english. But above all, our educational system and educators pay little attention to modern arguments in defense of our rights, instead the old guard have stuffed school books with worthless propaganda about past glory and emotional content that is of no value in modern debates even at a blog level let alone a live debate on radio or tv or any public forum.

Aiyn, this software that the Foreign Affairs office got developed identifies the sites for them at the click of a mouse. Then these “100,000″ cyber warriors are sent out to do battle on sites such as this. They didn’t have to go to the desperate time-consuming effort of searching one by one!! If you have any contacts I suggest strongly you try using them to see what can be done. Personally, I think people can argue till they’re blue in the face. The only good of arguing is knowing you have truth on your side. Peace.
Batir, there’s also an insane (and often, unknown of) amount of poverty in the Arab world. Not everyone can have access to this kind of technology. In Bahrain at least, our voices are loud and clear. Day after the other, protests are taking place. I believe that Friday’s protest will be the biggest one in the Gulf. Many people are preparing for it as we speak, with the help of countless organizations. Thousands of flags will be printed, and people are coming from Saudi Arabia and other neighboring countries just to join us. I don’t see many Jews and Israelis doing this. Also, they live in a democracy, and are always encouraged to voice their opinions. We lack that. Our limits within the media and lack of opportunities stop many from getting more involved.
I agree with you to a certain extent, but there are a lot of obstacles which you need to take into account.
Like you posted in Tololy’s Box, a lot of young and bright Arabs stay away from politics, which is why it seems as though history keeps repeating itself. Not enough people are active enough to want to change their socieites. Therefore, a lot of their blogs tend to be more personal than political, because it’s less risky. That’s why there’s probably more pro-Israeli blogs than there are pro-Palestinian. But we’re working on it. I’m currently working on a huge report exposing all of Israel’s crimes, and I will post it in all of the blogs that I’m a part of.
We should got a banner asking herbrew-speaking arabs to flood Israeli website and give them a taste of their own medecine.
I just visited a site that was the most disgusting site I have ever seen in my life, the “megaphone” site. There is a LONG list of possible talking points and exactly how to respond to each subject brought up. There is also the explanation of how to discredit the photos presented by blogs of the Qana massacre. Honestly, I am physically sick at my stomach. Each talking point is even given a number of times to read it, say, “read this eight or nine times” to prepare for discussion. Yousef, your point is well taken to a degree but I have one thing to say, if they’re so darn smart why do they need a whole site preparing them for debate? Why? Because it is a PURE PROPAGANDA TOOL. This thing NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED. I’m running in circles in my own mind at the utter evil of it. This is SO bad I can’t even find the words to express myself. Maybe they don’t exist. Perhaps the words don’t exist because our divine creator does not give us this imagination. Perhaps it came from somewhere else. Sorry for getting religiously emotional, but I am completely stunned.

I was participating in answers.yahoo.com and I noticed that many people there were pro-israel and anti-Islam. Wherever there was a topic related to the war in lebanon, there were many people replying with hatred towards the Arabs. They always mention that Hizbullah uses civilians as human shields. I was wondering what was wrong with all the people there. I thought they were brain washed by the media especially CNN and Fox News, but it sounds like these people are trained.
