I decided to start sharing my perfume reviews, I wear both men and women perfumes. This time, I’m reviewing my favorite perfume of 2008 (until now).

Black XS For Her, the perfume is intended for a young audience as the tagline say “for trendy girls and rebel princesses“.

The perfume development include include tamarind blossom, pink peppercorns, cranberry, hellebore rose, black violet, cacao flower, massoia wood, patchouli and vanilla. The smell lasts sweet and full for a whole day (and this time I didn’t even buy the tester bottle, regular one off the shelf) and it pretty much stays that way.

You might think that you shouldn’t use it during hot weather, well… you’re mistaken, it has a nice warmth and depth to it and it has its own mark and personality.

Paco Rabanne Black XS For Her is available in 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Toilette and in Spray Deodorant (perfect and cheap, I got it from the duty free for around 10 JD), Shower Gel and Body Lotion. I also noticed that It is always sold out at VaVaVoom, Abu Shakra and Cozmo (that’s why I got it from the duty free. thank god, last one on shelf and 50ml only).

Rates: 4.9/5 (calling all the Gentlemen, this is one you’ll buy for the girlfriend but you’ll want to wear yourself! Ladies, if your bottle goes missing, you’ll know who to ask)

Black XS for Men, A subtle blend of lemon, kalamanzi (a citrus resembling a cross between mandarin and lime), tagete and sage with heart notes of cinnamon, tolu balm, black cardamom and praline, and base notes of palissander wood, black amber, patchouli and ebony wood smelling like a delicious strawberry.

The fragrance opens with a smooth citrus blend, surprisingly subtle with a blend of woods and resins, the overall effect is “fruity”, so much so that I wondered how it would work as a sorbet or ice cream from Fruitylicious.

Paco Rabanne Black XS For Him doesn’t develop much, and surprisingly, stays quite close to the skin, also works amazing for the summer. I also found it at the duty free, and only few were left.
