Judging… in another point of view

Judging people based on them loving or hating brands is so shallow, Paris didn’t do that!

So what if some cafe’s lovers like to carry around cups and order their drinks in made-up languages. Take Costa as an example where they insist that large coffee is called Massimo. Pffffft! Can’t they use Large or كبير.

They are happy and content, sneering at everyone else lack of sophistication. (Please note that I do that myself so I ain’t targeting anyone)

If you look at our culture now, what do we really have that can give us meaning in life besides Religion? (Yeah right, because of its “connection” with the current reality.), we are in a time where a “perfect family” is becoming a myth. With rising divorce rates, things getting more expensive in life… prices going up and up all the time. we now realize that the “perfect family” is not guaranteed and takes hell of a lot of work. So what do we have that can give us meaning and a sense of community?

Shopping for… Brands

Brands reflect in a few simple words and images what they represent. It is not complicated and anyone can find the brand that suits them the best. And you are not limited to just one brand… you can have as many brands as you want. I like Apple for example, while my friend is a Microsoft employee and he’s got the job because he’s a big fan of Microsoft, to each his own.

Many would argue that the anti-consumerists who buy cheap stuff are not real because they are still sucked into the consumerist cycle. But can we really get away from it?

Do we want to?

Maybe we are all just pretending that we are not as consumerist-ic as we really are, because being consumers makes us happy?

Maybe we are lying to ourselves… but still, It makes us happy!

All I am saying is that being brand whores make people happy. We should not judge them for that. I think the world is better when there are happy people in it.

Live and let live… (Hat-tip: Odai)

People are weird, my friend Ahmad thinks I’m sick or I need to visit a doctor because I’m shallow according to his standards… Ahmad, I’m not shallow… you don’t me enough! I’m sorry If I ever gave a shallow images… apparently being sweet and nice to people make them think you are shallow… Eh! Denya.

Go back to shitty attitude then, if people don’t deserve being nice to!! As simple as that.

And don’t even get started on brands, thats a whole huge issue, and we all are brand whore, in one way or another!

Perhaps being nice is shallow .. brands! I wear where I like & I really don’t care who designed it.
    Cafes: I love Costa

Brand to me is another word of quality and if it turns to be not, then to hell with brands. My philosophy is when I pay too much for something too small (in all types of measures) just because it is a branded item then I am paying for quality. While when I pay less for something not brand then I am not paying for quality it is quantity. It is that simple and it is the customer choice quality or quantity, brand or not. Again Be careful, you don’t look for quality in everything you buy.

& some ppl have no background of brands whatsoever, easily found in cheap places like Carrefour, for their info, they think it’s a brand.

I don’t care so much about brands when it comes to clothes (aside from shoes), but I do for electronics or PC parts.

Mostly it doesn’t bother me which brands people care about, except when someone spends a great deal of money to buy expensive branded clothes when they can’t really afford it. What do they think this says about them ?

I just want to say this information to everyone who writes here : Treat people like the way you wanted to be treated .. Ive got like thousands of people saying that Im always dipressed , Melancholy , Dark and etc etc .. Im a human just like you and you I do have feelings and I love and I hate as well and I do not force myself into anyones rules I make my own rules and not to mention my boundries to people .. But I guess people just dont seem to understand so what if you bought yourself a Tshirt for like 10$ Is it the end of the world?! Of course not too bad Moey people these days only care from the clothes and cars and the shitty list goes on and never done .. People just seem to buy from Burberry or Louis Vuitton but always rememeber that there are thousands cant find a blanket to cover themselves from the winter .. In my own opinion I just feel extremlly sorry for those people who only shop from high brands Im not saying that I dont own some,, I do have a couple of things from high brands .. But I do not buy myself a 1235$ Suit from Armani or whatever I just keep the money for my University stuff including Books , Sheets , Worksheet Papers and so on I rather spend it in something worth it indeed .. That is all I want to say but I must confess here this topic has touched me in so many levels ..
