Previewing: Get Smart (2008)
The illusive combination of outrageous and tearful laughs have failed Steve Carell this time. The movie tries so hard, but fails to deliver the goods.
Oh and trailers are getting worse and worse! They're really taking huge chunks of the movie, massive parts of the plot, and exposing them to the masses who are "blessed" with strong memory and completely ruining the experience!
For some reason, Steve Carell is not that funny when he's actually "smart".
But the movie is entertaining and worth watching. The Rock is seriously becoming a much better actor than I thought he would be.
For that, it scores a solid 6/10 on the Qwaider scale. Opens everywhere June 20th
