Take120: iTunes Kuwait style

[click for larger pic]

Take 120 seems to be a new service for Kuwait market offering iTunes style downloadable content from movies to music for a nominal fee. The content looks like Divx encoded and ofcourse there are no DRM issues here ;)

There is a vast range of movies, tv shows, music in English, Hindi, and Arabic. From what they have advertised, KD 1 would fetch 4 movies, 50 songs and 6 tv shows. Not bad at all. Its a membership based site and you have to purchase tokens from KD 1 to KD 25. The tokens are time constrained, so you have a time limit to download as many files for a particular token. This is the token breakdown:

1 KD – 24 hrs download time (one user)
2.5 KD – 72 hrs download time (one user)
5 KD – 168 hrs/ 7 days download time (one user)
10 KD – 6 weeks download time (one user)
Gold Package – 25KD for 2.5 months (4 users)

Any takers ?! Has anyone tried this before ?!

sad that u’re site is promoting such ridiculous websites. I did go thru that site….and what it has to offer first of all is just 1% of what is available for free out there. So if YOU are promoting that website….one can only imagine your taste and limited potential when it comes to the net. anywayz all d best to u and d 120 or 240 site.
