The annoying brat in the class!
I've been attending this amazing super expensive training for the past couple of days, rubbing elbows with the smartest people at Google, Amazon, Ebay, Intel and Microsoft. It was such an eye opener class that was so impressive, so amazingly well done and presented by one of the living legends of computer science today!
But there was this guy, who kept asking questions, adding pointers and three or four people wanted to rise from their seats, walk to him and slap him for all his interruptions!
Why can't people just shut up during these classes?!
Well, truth is, people want to get their money's worth. After paying 14k for two days people expect to learn something. Or at least interact!
But how dare that dude wake up the titans of software and hardware in that class from their deep sleep during what their company has forked out for them to learn!?
I was more disappointed by the creme de la creme than I usually am. They turned out to be more geeks than I thought, with hardly any social skills, and there are less than 10% ladies in this field (Damn you women, when are you going to enter the Computer world!?)
It was sad to see everyone just silent as the presenter tried to ask them to guess things or a specific outcome! The whole event was socially, pathetic!
Guess, who's the one who gained the most! The guy who kept asking, and interacting, he learned something, got his questions answered and best part, shared part of his knowledge with the class and even the presenter. He also managed to prove the the very first sentence that the presenter said about Software Engineers to be wrong. The sentence was, "They're all introverts"
But above all, he got his money's worth!
That annoying guy, was me!

With that conclusion, I had to go back and read the damn post all over again with a different perspective.
which makes me wonder "r we that errogant that we donot admit that we DONT KNOW!!!".
Well, I didn't say that, but, it's certainly a challenge for them
I'm a geek with social skills :D
HAHAHAHA about user friendly, yes they're not. They need to have a better "UI"
LostWithin
It was well worth it. Seriously!
Garfan
Thanks I know, but you've surpassed me long time ago in the level of annoyance.. so I bow to you in that :)
It's good that I made you read the whole thing again :) Maybe you learned something in the second time
Shaher
Absolutely, I'm disappointed that less women are in that field than men. And the result!!? CRAPPY operating systems, UGLY unusable UI, HORRIBLE experiences ... we desperately need woman's touch here! It's about time!
Afaf
Sometimes it's arrogance, sometimes, it's called being shy. Others, people just don't care!
Who knows!
Maher
Sure :)
Laila
HAHAHHAA ... The good thing about geeks is that they're harmless.
Hamede
