Zain offers web hosting plans but for extremely expensive prices
What would drive such a big company like Zain to provide such a small service like web hosting? I mean this service can be perfectly offered by individuals/freelancers and small companies, you can even do it for yourself if you have some technical knowledge.
Look at the prices of their hosting plans, it’s a rip-off, their 100 MB plan is for 250 JDs, of course sales tax will be added, my hosting plan from Hostgator gives me more than 600 GB disk space for 9$/month, 600 GB not MG, that’s like 7 JDs a month, less than 100 JDs a year.

There are always big companies comming with crappy offers to different niches, if they succeed it is usually because of their name and their marketing power. In this case I hope that it doesnt work though. There is soooo much better offers out there, both HostGator as you mention and loads more (just check WebHostNinja.com and you’ll see), so Zain shouldnt stand much chance.

useless , the last thing any client care about is this things like 1% who THINK they need it , plus it come by default with any hosting
they should say something about Script support ? .net , PHP
also mention if there is a Control panel or not
same stupid mistake , why when I get more space they supposed I need more FTP accounts ?
so the one with 100MB will ask for 5 FTP account ???

Chaos, no it doesn’t, at least to me, hosting service is a really small service even for an ISP, but anyway that’s the not the main issues, take a look at the prices.
