Hate at first sight!

Exactly like the way people experience love at first sight, if there is such a thing. Today, I experienced the complete opposite. I wasn't doing any of the hating though.

It was so awkward when you feel that someone actually hates your guts. Not for anything you did or said. But right out of the blue, they're hating you.

Or perhaps my reputation preceded me! I don't really know!

Just like love at first sight, hate is also wrong from the get go. In fact, in the case of hate it's worse because you have judged somebody even before talking to them and knowing what they're about.

I was saying goodbye to our friends who are leaving back to the middle east. When this lady, was reeking with hate! I mean it was clear. It doesn't matter how nice you are, she has made up her mind.

The shortest path to a man's heart is, his stomach. What about woman's heart? I'll let you in on a little secret. HER KIDS. Play with them, amuse them. Show them tricks, take them off her hands while she's trying to get a few bites, and hate turns to admiration, and she might even forget why she hates you at the first place.

Can any one of the moms confirm or deny this? Would you change your thoughts about someone from the way they treat your kids?

I'm not a mommy, but I've seen some people who I would describe as monstrous turn into Barney the dinosaur when they hold a baby. Kooochy Kooochy Kooooo and all!

LOL Hani! well if we're talking about moms fa yes I've seen this too especially when the kids get to attached :$ as if it's my fault when the mom doesn't pay enough attention to her kid(s)

as for hate at first moment heil lellah fe lellah, I get that too slot - some people just hate me at first sight as will as I get this feeling towards some people I am just not getting a good vibe from

They touched on it during a FRIENDS episode, yup - babies do the work! It is seeing the softer side of a man with simultaneously being responsible and grown up while handling kids is what makes women sink!

But food is more accessible!

not really!! do u think i will let someone i donot know and trust play with my kid...noway....actually i would rather my son be on his own doing his stuff alone other than leaving him with someone keeping him accompanied....with all these crazy stories we hear everyday, i d rather be safe than sorry...adn no u wont gain my heart if u play a little with my kid out of the blue!!!
we cannot use kids to gain someone's heart, u know!! unlike tv shows!!!

For me however, I've grown from the "I don't like people for no reason" deal, and I try as much as I can to actually give people a chance.

How can anyone be a grown up and still appeal to the kids. Remember, for the mommy to give you the thumbs up, you have to get on your knees and be all dumb and crazy with the kids :)

I totally understand where you're coming from. I would probably do the very same thing. But if everyone is watching over, and there are 20 kids or so .. I think it would be safe for the mommies to know that the kids are in good hands.
But you're totally right in your concern.
