What Have I Been Up To?

I've been busy reading.

The whole time I was in med school I don't think I finished more than 3 or 5 books. Yup. I always told myself that I would start reading as soon as I graduate. Deep down inside I thought it was just one of those excuses. Turns out I was wrong! I haven't lost my love for reading after all. I managed to finish 2 books in about 3 days, just like the old days. I'm on my 3rd at the moment, but this one is taking a little longer. I was so happy with myself I thought why not make myself my own bookmark instead of using a sheet of tissue.

Me being the Hello Kitty fanatic collector that I am, never use any of my collector items or take off their tags. I used some of my Hello Kitty Tags and the ribbons from my Hello Kitty Surprise Party to make a bookmark.....and voila:

I finally....after (how many years has Marina Mall been open?) have gone to Colour Me Mine, with my sister, like I promised when it first opened! The pink 1 is for me to put my jewelery that I wear everyday. It has a rose on each side and my initials on the other 2 sides. The yellow one is for my parents with their initials.

Speaking of Hello Kitty, yesterday I found this cutest charm bracelet at the One Moment store at the Avenues. They had the cutest most adorable Hello Kitty charms ever. I'm going to buy a new one everytime I go to the Avenues.

Everyone knows the Cartier charity love bracelet. Well i found a similar Gucci bracelet, but much much nicer at the Avenues. Its twice the price, about KD230 and im wondering if I should buy it or not. I refused to buy the Cartier bracelet because everyone was buying it and faja'a it became a fad and the charities were forgotten and it all became about fashion. I'm glad I didn't buy it cuz the other day I saw knock-offs being sold at Carrefour! Annoying I tell you!

The other day my friend had just bought it and kept on flashing it in front of me as if begging me to comment about it. And I was thinking to myself "Enough already!" I decided to put her out of her misery and comment about it cuz at the rate she was going she was going to poke me in the face with all those hand gestures! So I said what charity does that colour stand for? What do you think she said? Oh...the man in the store said this one doesnt stand for a charity, the other one is the charity bracelet.

No comment!!!

She made it even worse by saying: ee ba3ad ana gilt laish ma ashtiri, ma dam tgolen charity, chini daf3a 9adaqa!

No comment!!!

Anyways, so back to Gucci, I couldnt find a pic of it, but should i get it or is it gonna turn into another of those fads?

Speaking of phones....and *dread of dreads* phone bills. Remember last month when i had that huge bill? Well surprise surprise....i topped it....again.....I was crying all the way to wataniya and back.....when will i learn?
What amazed me the most is the number of sms's im sending....678 ! Min siji?!

I finally found a slim daily planner at Zara Home. It took almost 8 months to find !

The problem is that it is for 2009 ! My mom says the year is almost over, what do you want a 2008 planner for? Anyways, if anyone knows where I can get a similar planner for 2008 plz plz plz let me know. It has to be slim. Nothing chunky.

Has anyone tried the new Kinder? When I bought it I thought it was the regular Kinder Surprise Egg....but I was 'surprised' to find this.....

At first I was a little disgusted. Madri.....it doesnt look to apetizing if you know what I mean (it reminds me of poop), but I when I ate it wasnt bad at all.

I was also busy getting lots of gifts for graduating. Of the many gifts I got, I got this cutest ever Swarovski Tinkerbell, is she not the cutest thing ever?

That's about it for now. I hope this post will suffice for now until I'm able to put a meaningful post together. To be honest, everytime I get the urge to write something I write it on my phone and forget about it as soon as my mood changes.
