You're too good for this!
It hasn't even been 3 weeks, for some "veteran" ladies to start spraying their unsolicited poison advice. It makes me wonder, what really drives these people?! What is it that gives them joy when they try to make a person feel discontent with what they have?!
I'm sure you too have faced something similar. Ever bought a car and had someone feel pity for you because the glass is not tinted? Or a house where someone would come and make you feel like crap because the carpets needs changing!? You know what I mean. It's a special breed of people who thrive on nothing more than making you feel like crap about the most wonderful thing that ever happened to you.
If there is any definition to envy, this is certainly it!
I don't know why someone feels compelled to make you feel like used goods, or burned food, or chopped liver! It's like you were distended to the dumpster but somehow, miraculously you ended up in a palace!
Who gives anyone the right to doubt some one's worth? Or if they deserve -the great thing- they got!? Or even the not so great thing they got!
The truth is, there are those kinds of people who will come and ruin your moment! Why!!? It beats me!

and the problem is that most of the time we listen to them !!
Well, i guess i've been through a berry similar thing a while ago!!!! and my sister is going through the very same thing RIGHT NOW!!!
Well, they show an over dose of interest that makes you ask: "Why even bother yourself to watch??"
They try one method: Oh, sweety!!! You are so gorgeous!!! You, honestly, deserve some thing better!!!
And when it does not work: Come on!!! What did you do to gain this? What effort on earth did you pay? Why is it always you who gets the good things? What do you think yourself??
It is, jelousy and Envy!!! Nothing a bit more!!!
And you know what? It is because all these people put there are just empty... If they have any thing to work on in their lives they wouldn't have enough time to bother themselves with other people's stuff!!! >:o(
Once she got to know my mom, all was well!
So I'd say as long as these people don't keep up this nonsense advice, forgive and forget. You can't judge someone in a couple of weeks or even a couple of months.
Like, "You deserve better" a lady can answer, "But who's better? Your husband? and laugh!!" this would make them eat their heart out!
The great part is that my family don't practice this. And I attribute this level of maturity in relationships to my mother. She was never the kind of "drink tea with the ladies" kind of person, she would be more likely to be caught with a book and not gossiping, demoralizing, demeaning or undermining others.
Anyway, I'm just blessed with the most amazing lady. I seriously don't know what I've done to deserve her. But I totally believe that god loves me.
Solution to this dilemma: Cut your relationship with those types of parasites. Otherwise; their evil and envy might swallow your entire existence and you get trapped their forever.
Jealousy at its finest.
Brush it off man. That's the difference between one being content and one who isn't
