Ok....so I have a sickness.
Since everyone is doing the addictions tag, I'll get it over and done with myself.
I'm addicted to mobile phones.
I'm addicted to bling.
These 2 addictions dont necessarily go well together.
Why you ask?
Because I tend to bore easily with phones, I wouldn't mind having a new one every month. The only reason my current phone lasted this long is because a while back my original phone stopped working and they replaced me with a brand new one ;/ any other person would be thrilled, no, not me. Cuz I don't have an excuse to buy a new one and therefore was stuck for it for another couple of months. Add to that I'm still waiting for the white steel E71 (they've announced the E72 o E75 and they havent released the white one)!!!!!!!! Tadron I have told everyone i know overseas and everyone is saying its not available. Ma3qola?!

As soon as I get bored with my mobile i decide to give it a 'face-lift'. How? I bling it! Oh and not professionally. No, no no, I do it myself. I'm not too bad, but I'm no perfectionist if u know what I mean. But along the years and after doing half my families phones I guess I've improved.
So, being the unemployed person I am with loads of extra time. And after days of oogling all the pictures on the Jake & Gigi website, I said why not just do it? I had tried doing a bangle the Jake & Gigi style before and it turned out ok, but holds no comparison to Jake & Gigi.

There work is so detailed mashAllah! I don't know how they get those little ones in their. My problem is that I rush through it, madri laish. Y3ni my phones usually take a couple of hours o khalas. Next time I'm going to pay more attention to detail and take it step by step ;/

While rumagging around my room looking for old jewellery and trinkets I can use for my phone look what I found:
My parents had them made for me in the US when I was a baby.
I have similar ones of my dad.
Ilbichir o wayid mdal3eni, mako shay ma sawoli, I have jigsaw puzzles of me,
a family calender o china ba3d a mini mini intsy winsy teeny weeny t-shirt.
Who has any of these crazy things lying around at the back of their closet?

P.S. So so so glad I didn't bling my camera first like I had in mind, cuz cameras are not something I change on a regular basis. No more bling for me.

I was also waiting for the white E71.. I waited so long I got bored and just bought the silver one.. and you know what.. I LOVE IT :D

about mobile bling ling ling thing ,i used to add some for my mobile but not a bling bling and urs simply nice.
I'm sort of allergic to bling. I don't know why, I just don't get it. I like it occasionally (bought the cutest little headband from Ziad Abbas in Leb) but I think there's a time and place for it and that place isn't my phone/car/house/shoe/bag/face/everything.

mm about my cute baby finds... i found this lil notebook thingy.. my first curl my first print, first word first whatever.. and whats funny was that my mom had my pic sitting amidst piles and piles of accessories (ma3arf mn wain m6al3tnhm) with a caption going like "she loves bags and bangles" LOL << thats all i can think off :P but what can i say, once an accessories junkie, always an accessories junkie :P

I actually LOVE ur work and love looking at photos of ur amazing designs. I actually know how to do it myself and decided to bling my own phone by myself, i wanted to create the Jake & Gigi look, but i dont think i achieved what i was aiming for, it looks nothing like ur beautiful creations.
On the contrary, I would be over the moon if u designed a phone for me.
