My Dad, Blogging & Sephora

I've been spending a lot of time with my dad since my mom and sister left the country. We've been busy buying last minute things they forgot to send over. Last Friday we were planning to go to the Avenues before f6or but we weren't sure what time they open since its 9alat ilyim3a. My dad was on his computer so I asked him to google the Avenues maybe they have a site. Big mistake.

The search results turned out to be a list of blogs, Q8 Chillnite, and Mark's blog! And sure enough my dad started clicking away and reading.

"Baba...hathaila mafehom shay...khalas khalas I'll call the badala for the number"
"Baba baba don't bother....wallah you won't find anything"

He turned me on mute mode. Yes, he does that, itha indimij ma yisma3 shay!
So 6ala3t bara ib karamti and let him read as many blogs as he wanted and so what if he accidently stumbles upon my blog, it's not like I have much going on here. Oh well.

So a couple of days later we finally went to Avenues straight after f6or, I had my own alterior motives: raiding Sephora with daddy dearest to foot the bill! As soon as we arrived my dad said his famous line:

Dad: Baba Allah ykhalech ana ilyom waray wayid shegul, bs indish ilma7al ili yayenla o ni6la3, ok?
Me: Insha Allah yuba" *while thinking how I can get him all the way from Ikea to Sephora*
Dad: Agool yuba wain fe ma7al 36oor zain?
*Ding!*
Me: Laish, ishbaghait?
Dad: 3i6ri Creed khalas, abi wa7id thani.
Me: 3ad hatha ma n7a9la ila ib Sephora lena tawa fati7, cuz Creed is always sold out in Debenhams and Vavavoom. *which is 100% true*

We finalled get there, find the perfume and I say baba plz I just want to look around I want to check out if they have any new merchandise. And i go on a mad dash around the shop. Everytime I look over my dad 7araaaaam yaksir ilkha6r....he just looked like he wanted to leave! And theres no way I can shop like that. So I said khalas lets pay and leave I'll come back another time. And I was miserable!

Ana, ANA, adish Sephora o ma a6la3 ib shay? You'd think I'd let it pass, oh no. For the rest of the night all I had to say is shlon ana dashait Sephora o how he didnt even buy me 1 lipstick! Over and over like a broken record....mo rathya askit...7ata kalamt omi and I told her o she was surprised o kisart kha6rha. Anyways, 7aram he did promise to take me this week on a "before work shopping spree" and I can't wait! Oh and theres something else he promised hehe but I'm not telling.

Anyways, while clearing out the bags, guess what I found:

So I guess ma 6ala3t khalya and this is "lipstick" I kept on going on and on about. Hehe.

SPOILER ALERT !

I saw:
- 2hr premeire of Survivor Gabon - loved it! They made a fishing rod out of a stick, shoe laces and glasses frame and actually caught 5 fish !!!
- Lipstick Jungle premeire - so so so so happy Nico's hubby died, now she can be with Kirby!
- Currently downloading Grey's Anatomy season premiere - hope its good, it seems to have its lost its charm lately. Update - I saw it! 3ajeeeeeeeeeeba il7alqa....grey's has officially regained its old charm back!!

Y3ni shino? Are they gonna shut down?! :(

I realised that this body cream is much better then the Vaseline one I recommended in my previous post.
Oh and it smells much better!Seems like a pretty good deal for anyone intrested ;)
