I want to do like what Matt did …
Matt is a 29-year-old deadbeat from Connecticut who used to think that all he ever wanted to do in life was make and play videogames. He achieved this goal pretty early and enjoyed it for a while, but eventually realized there might be other stuff he was missing out on. In February of 2003, he quit his job in Brisbane, Australia and used the money he’d saved to wander around the planet until it ran out. He made this site so he could keep his family and friends updated about where he is.A few months into his trip, a travel buddy gave Matt the idea of dancing everywhere he went and recording it on his camera. This turned out to be a very good idea. Now Matt is quasi-famous as “That guy who dances on the internet. No, not that guy. The other one. No, not him either. I’ll send you the link. It’s funny.”

The response to the first video brought Matt to the attention of the nice people at Stride long-lasting gum. They asked Matt if he’d be interested in taking another trip around the world to make a new video. Matt asked if they’d be paying for it. They said yes. Matt thought this sounded like another very good idea.

At the start of 2006, Matt left on a 6 month trip through 39 countries on all 7 continents. In that time, he danced a great deal.

But the problem is when i reach 30 years old, i will be broken, coz i will be married.
and thats becaouse of our stupid traditions which require from you to spend all your money and even your neighbors money to get married.

so i think the best way is to go to the highest place Matt wents to and jump from there, then give the camera to your friend, recorde it on a movie and send this movie to all Jordanian families.

Watch the movie

Come on now… that’s a bit of an exaggeration, no? Has it gotten this bad? It remains true that there are certain parts of tradition that we cannot and should not let go of when it comes to wedding etiquette :D (by the way, weddings are so over-rated!) however that doesn’t mean that the man must go broke! the way I see it, plain and simple, girls should not me demanding but at the same time guys who cannot afford to start a home/family should hold off getting married!

iv been reading through your blog for the past 30 minutes,
it’s so weird that i wanted to cry right after i saw the video !! he’s sooo damn lucky, it’s one of my big dreams to actually tour the world ..
as for marriage, Ibrahim, what you’re talking about is the snobbish families of Amman, i don’t see you with any of their girls, you deserve a decent girl with a decent family, don\t worry ;)
